homemade scrub

Summer or winter, your body, and face, your feet and hands will appreciate a good scrub for divinely soft skin! In a slow logic, we suggest you take care of yourself with everyday ingredients.

Salt to scrub your face, body, and feet

For the body, simply mix 4 tablespoons of fine salt with two teaspoons of vegetable oil, like olive oil. If you wish, you can add a few drops of essential oils for a pleasant smell and their virtues. Apply wherever you like and massage in a circular motion. Rinse off. If this recipe is not recommended for acne-prone and sensitive skin, carte blanche for all others.

homemade scrub sea salt

For the face, mix your sea salt (a tablespoon) with plain yogurt (a ½ individual pot) and lemon (the juice of a fruit). Yogurt is a natural antibacterial. It helps to fight against small stains. Lemon juice also has antibacterial and purifying properties to fight against excess sebum and blackheads. Antioxidant, it helps to regenerate your cells and fight the signs of aging. Rich in minerals, sea salt is your purifying, analgesic, and anti-inflammatory ally, perfect for eradicating dead cells and skin, but also for fighting psoriasis and eczema.

For the feet, simply massage the underside with a handful of coarse salt. You can start with a small foot bath of warm water with coarse salt, lemon, and baking soda.

Sugar or sugar and honey?

For the body, all types of skin, except very fragile, you can make a sugar scrub, by simply mixing a teaspoon with a drizzle of vegetable oil, olive or other. Apply in a circular motion and leave on for a few minutes before rinsing.

homemade scrub honey

For the body as well as the face, sugar can be mixed with honey, which is antibacterial, regenerating, antioxidant, and hydrating. The mixture is rinsed off after application with warm water to avoid sticky skin! This scrub will brighten up dull and lackluster skin. It is ideal to stimulate blood microcirculation to participate in cellular renewal. Don’t hesitate to leave it on your face for a few minutes like a mask before using circular movements to exfoliate. Rinse with clear water. Count approximately one teaspoon of powdered sugar for two spoons of honey.

The king of zero waste ingredients: coffee grounds

homemade coffee ground scrub

We love coffee grounds in cosmetics! It is an anti-cellulite and anti-aging regenerator! The caffeine stimulates you more from the outside. For this scrub, we simply associate it with vegetable oil, like olive oil for an ultra-hydrating and revitalizing effect, at the rate of one bulging teaspoon of marc for one tablespoon of oil.

Think of seeds for a gentle scrub

Semolina, for example, is less abrasive than sugar and salt. It is, therefore, suitable for all skin types. Semolina can be mixed with water, rosemary, or thyme. The scrub is applied to the body as well as to the face. One operates circular movements, then one rinses with tepid water.

If it is true that it can be expensive to take care of yourself with commercial cosmetics, no more excuse thanks to the slow. We breathe, mix three ingredients of the cupboard, and let pose a few minutes for a moment of well-being. Your skin and your morale will thank you!
